Pam retired from a career as a physical therapist in 2000 and has since dedicated herself to serving others through local nonprofit organizations as well as serving internationally on many short-term mission teams. Pam and her husband Robert were foster parents and did emergency respite care for children for six years. She has served with Richmond Friends of the Homeless for over 20 years as well as CARITAS (Congregations Around Richmond Involved to Assure Shelter).
She has extensive experience in nonprofit board service, having served on the boards of Chip of Richmond, Seeds of Hope Brazil, Great Expectations program at John Tyler Community College, and Vessels of Mercy International.
