Mission: Be the Light shines the light of Christ through good works for God’s glory. (Matthew 5:16)

Vision: To dispel darkness in all the earth by proclaiming Jesus as Savior and caring for people as He did.

Current activities that fulfill the mission locally and internationally:

–Provide personal health and hygiene education and washable feminine hygiene kits to school-aged girls in the developing world to increase their access to education thereby promoting their exodus from poverty and gender-based oppression.
–Teach sexual violence prevention to girls and women in settings where it is prevalent with hopes of decreasing their entry into the sex trade, early marriage, and human trafficking.
–Supply humanitarian aid (i.e. food, clothing, blankets for people in crisis).
–Provide access to medical and dental care to those in need.
–Disaster relief in the form of financial support to equip those “on the ground” who are serving in the wake of a disaster.

Our vision for future activities:

–Educate girls in the areas of personal health and hygiene in severely impoverished areas of the U.S. and provide feminine hygiene kits to them.
–Partner with other organizations to provide aftercare and basic vocational training to girls and women exiting the sex trade.
–Provide assistive technologies to those that are limited by communication and physical impairments to improve their quality of life.
–Ensure access to sustainable clean water and sanitation to those in the developing world.
–Offer opportunities for internships and cultural exchange programs.
